    Whether or not that …
Whether or not that is their true agenda, what’s wrong with eliminating pets? Did you ever ask the animal if it wanted to be domesticated, abused and used for thousands of years? No because they don’t have a voice or the choice so we make it for them.

    sheesh – it would …
sheesh – it would have more impactt if I could type! HUMANE SOCIETY OF THE UNITED STATES = HSUS

  3. RedwoodCurtain Says:

Added note – if you …
Added note – if you want to donate to a Human Society, please do it on a local level like for this shelter and the great work they are doing. Please do not donate to HSUS.

  4. RedwoodCurtain Says:

    so instead people …
so instead people should join PETA – the pet extinction organization that takes in animals and KILLS them? Just google PETA walk in freezer…
or folks could join the Human Society of the United States (HSUS) – another organization devoted to misleading people and taking their money in the name of animals when their real agenda is to eliminate pets. Humans and animals have been partners all through time. Keeping pets is not animal slavery.

    OK, granted I have …
OK, granted I have a soft spot for animals anyway, but, boy, this video made me cry! It was so awesome to see this animals so well cared for during the Santa Cruz fire! We live just over the hill from the fire, and the firemen were all being housed in our town. How wonderful for the evacuees to know they didn’t have to abandon their animals like in Katrina! Honestly, I don’t know if I could evacuate and leave my animals behind! I think I’d refuse to go. Great video! Great work Watsonville!

    Thank you so much …
Thank you so much for what y’all have done to help the owners and animals get thru the fires without having to “lose” their connection with each other. Let’s not ever let what happened in Katrina again. Pets are members of the family and a person should never have to choose to save their life over the life of a family member! Blessings to you all and to the owners and the animals.

Proud humane to 2 rescued dogs, one old dog and two rescued bunnies

    Don’t buy pets, …
Don’t buy pets, don’t own pets and don’t breed pets. So no to animal slavery

    We just have them …
We just have them at the shelter for safe keeping during the fires. They have owners that will take them home when the fires are gone.
